Although the design makes these models particularly noteworthy, it’s the endless application possibilities that make these models the top choice for reliability, durability, and functionality. A Quick Glance These chassis make great first impression on its buyers, indicated by the number of calls we received thus far asking for information about them. The E-204L and E-306L are 2U and 3U chassis respec tively at roughly 25†long. They have all the standard functions starting from the front in power and resent switches, LED indicators for Power, USB access, and 1.6mm frame. Both chassis also have plenty of open drive bays in the front. In the back, E-204L supports 6 low profile expansion slots, while E-306L supports 7 standard expansion slots. Both chassis are compatible with standard 2U form factor power supplies. Under the Hood Because of the hassle-free modularized top cover, this allows for the choice of revealing only the front end or the backend. This feature greatly increases management efficiency by removing the frontal smaller cover with a few easy screws rather than by removing the entire 25†top cover. This design feature itself can save server technicians time to figure out harder problems. These long bodied chassis are designed for E-ATX motherboards, but they also support smaller ATX and ITX boards. Four 80mm fans are installed in the E-204L and an additional two 60mm fans are installed in the E-306L. The 80mm fans are mounted individually in the midsection of the chassis with thumb screws. The E-306L has an additional metal frame bar to fortify the chassis walls. Optimal Compatibility The E-204L and E-306L have multiple drive bays (5.25†optical and 3.5†floppy) up front, which allows users to customize the chassis into working systems for any types of application.
